Dear Parents and Carers of Year 1,
Transition for Year 1 children to move into the new Y1/Y2 classroom.
Further to my letter dated 9 January 2024, I would like to share with you that the children of Year 1 have done a brilliant job transitioning into their new classroom with their new teachers. The children have enjoyed a range of sessions with Mr Howard and Miss Masterson covering different areas of the curriculum and have adapted to their new environment and settled into the new routines and expectations with great ease – they are a credit to St George’s and their families.
In light of this, the Year 1 children will be accessing the Y1/Y2 classroom full time from Monday 22 January 2024.
So, from Monday 22 January, please bring your child to either Miss Masterson or Mr Howard who will be on the doors at morning drop off to support the children into the Y1/Y2 classroom.
Thank you so much again for your patience and support during this period of building development. We really do appreciate it.
