Phew an incredibly busy first week back! We have begun looking at narrative poetry and analysing it's features - a challenging task that we rose to. Measuring in maths was tricky but we have shown great progress at the end of this unit. Rugby was amazing and we have enjoyed practising our skills in the sun during break and lunch. We have also enjoyed quiet time in the gazebo with our new cushions and books to read during break and lunch giving welcome shade from the sun.
Cooking this week was amazing we excelled at cutting, rolling and frying!
Well done to everyone - enjoy the bank holiday weekend.
Excellent teamwork in year 3-4 this week. We shared rhyming words to complete our poems about rugby on Mars, we worked together to complete circuits plus identifying insulators and conductors then we supported our partners to ensure that we completed a repeating loop in computing to draw a shape - fantastic work by all!
We enjoyed our biscuits and learning more about the celebrations that happened 80 years ago, practising our conga around the school field, just as everyone across the country did as they celebrated Victory in Europe Day!
