Year 3/4 have got straight back into the swing of things this week!
They’ve worked incredibly hard in our maths sessions, where we have been focused on fractions. We started the week by making our own fraction wall to support our learning.
In science, we began our ‘Plants’ topic, finding out about the different parts of plants, and what each part does.
Well done everyone for a great first week back!
Another lovely busy week in Y3/4!
We have started working on basketball skills in PE. This week we practised controlling the ball as we moved it around our body, as well as when dribbling it around the cones.
In science we are investigating the effect of water on the germination of cress seeds. We found it quite tricky to count out the right number of cress seeds to ensure it was a fair test!
