Designated Safeguarding Leads

We all have a responsibility to keep children safe. The Designated Safeguarding Lead has additional responsibilities in ensuring the safety and wellbeing of children and young at St George's Catholic Primary School. The lead is the point of contact for anyone at St George's who is concerned about a child. In the lead's absence, the deputies are the point of contact for any concerns. The Designated Safeguarding Lead and Deputies are responsible for:
- safeguarding policies and procedures
- training and development
- receiving concerns about a child, reporting, storing and retaining pupils' records following our policies and procedures

St George's works closely with Clennell Education Solutions for safeguarding advice and support. Our safeguarding advisor is Dan Tolan.
