SCHOOL UNIFORM
School uniform is worn at St George’s RC Primary to give the children a sense of identity and pride in their school.
Our school uniform is
- Grey or black pinafore or skirt
- Grey or black trousers
- Pale blue polo shirt
- Navy Sweatshirt/cardigan/Jumper
- Red Sweatshirt and white polo short for Nursery
- Black school shoes (not Trainers)
Blue and white striped or checked dress may be worn by girls and grey/black shorts by boys or girls in the summer term.
Reception class also need a pair of wellies for outdoor work, these can be kept in school during term time.
School logo polo shirts, sweatshirts ,cardigans, fleeces, coats and hats may be purchased direct from Tots to Teams.
The PE kit consists of a red polo shirt and navy blue shorts .Children will need trainers for outdoor sessions and can wear navy tracksuit pants in colder weather. Pupils who have swimming lessons need to bring a swimming costume or swimming trunks and a large towel Girls with long hair will need to wear a swimming hat.
Please clearly label all clothing and bags.
Jewellery
The only items considered appropriate are watches. For health and safety reasons, other jewellery should not be worn in school. If ears are pierced, small studs may be worn, but must be removed or covered for PE/Games.
