Year 5/6 24/4/26

Year 5 and 6 have had an exciting and energetic first week back at school! It has been wonderful to see everyone returning with such enthusiasm and a positive attitude towards their learning.

In Maths, we have been revising shapes in a hands-on and engaging way. The children explored the classroom to find different objects, identifying the shapes they could see, and discussing their properties. From counting sides and vertices to recognising angles, it was fantastic to see them applying their knowledge in a practical context.

We also had a lovely time celebrating Saint George’s Day alongside Early Years. The children enjoyed playing games together and embracing the festive spirit. To top it all off, everyone cooled down with a well-earned ice-pop! It has been a brilliant start to the term.
