Year 5-6 20/3/26

Wow - what a fantastic and busy week we’ve had in Year 5/6! It’s been full of learning, teamwork, reflection, and fun.

On Tuesday, we had a very special Tuesday Choice session where we were joined by some of our parents. Together, we spent time reflecting on prayers, sharing thoughts. It was lovely to come together as a community and take a moment to pause and think.

In Science, we’ve been having an amazing time exploring air resistance and gravity. To put our learning into action, we carried out the Egg Parachute Investigation! The challenge was to design a parachute that would protect an egg when dropped - and they all rose to the challenge brilliantly. We saw some creative designs and impressive problem-solving. While many teams had some great results, only one team managed to succeed in all three parachute tests - what an achievement!

Well done to everyone for your hard work, creativity, and teamwork this week. You should all be very proud of what you’ve accomplished. Have a restful weekend - you’ve certainly earned it!
