Year 3/4 loved their introduction to cricket this week! We’re looking forward to developing our skills over the coming weeks.

In English, we’ve thought about instruction writing, and to celebrate all of our learning about Ancient Egypt, we’ve followed instructions on how to ‘Mummify a tomato’!

We made our own natron (bicarbonate and salt) to ‘embalm’ the tomatoes. We cleaned the tomato with sanitiser and after drying, covered with natron.

In art, we learned about Frida Kahlo and Henri Rousseau. We began sketching animals and plants from tropical rainforests.
